FLOATING SOUND: WEIGHTLESS SOUND BATH

aerial hammocks AND HYPNOGOGIC SOUND

Drift into deep relaxation, held by aerial hammocks guided by a gentle sound bath with hypnogogic soundscape, gong and singing bowls.

Floating Sound: Weightless Sound Bath by SOUND MIRROR

Quiet your mind through guided meditation, and soften physical tension by releasing into supported rest above sleep, but below waking.

Giving you space to slow down. Permission to turn off thought loops, patterns, and let go of time into a weightless dreamstate.

What is a hypnogogic state? Is it safe?

The hypnogogic state is the deeply relaxed, liminal space which you move between every morning and evening. The blurry line between waking and sleep, where you will be aware of your surroundings with full control of your body and senses.

In this relaxed state, combined with guided meditation, it’s easier to let go of stress and into a more peaceful mindset as your brain shifts from waking active speed to slower alpha and theta waves. A state more open, creative and can bring clarity, introspection and emotional release.

How do Hypnogogic Soundscapes work?

SOUND MIRROR composes electronic soundscapes that blur the boundary between music and silence. Not focused on melody or song, but instead on encouraging entrainment, the natural brain response to follow rhythms, guided intentionally, through drones and moving through different sonic frequencies.

These sounds don’t demand your attention, but instead encourage a soft gaze as they gently guide you inward just like it does before sleep.

What are the benefits of the aerial hammock for physical tension and sleep?

Your body is supported without pressure points, allowing muscles to relax more deeply than they would lying on a mat. The gentle sway of the hammock mimics a rocking motion (vestibular stimulation research shows improved deep sleep and memory function) a nurturing sensory experience associated with being cradled and rocked as a baby.

This can calm the nervous system and release stored physical tension and is perfect for lower back pain or those with physical aches.
