Before your session
This space is designed to help you rest, release, and reconnect — and a little preparation can help you get the most out of it. Nothing here is strict or required, but these gentle suggestions may support your experience.
A few things to avoid (if possible)
In the hours before your session — or longer if you can — it can be helpful to avoid things that overstimulate your nervous system. That might include caffeine, alcohol, or other substances that alter your state. Trust what feels right for you, but consider giving your system a bit of space to settle.
You might also want to step back from high-input media — like social scrolling, fast-paced shows, or intense news — to let your mind quieten a little before we begin.
Arriving with awareness
If you can, take a moment before you arrive to check in with yourself. You might want to reflect or journal on what’s bringing you to this session, and if there's anything you'd like to explore or share with me when we begin.
If you’re feeling unwell, take a moment to consider if it feels like the right time to attend. I can always help you reschedule if needed.
What to wear
There’s no dress code. Come as you are.
You’ll likely be lying down for the session, so wear whatever feels comfortable for you. Layers or warm socks are a good idea — your body temperature can dip slightly when you enter deep rest. Shoes will be removed at the door.
What to bring
You don’t need to bring anything — mats, blankets, and other comfort items are provided. But if there’s something small that supports your rest (like a favourite blanket, personal eye mask or charms), feel free to bring it with you.
You may also want to bring water, or a journal if you like to write after your session.
What not to bring
Please don’t bring food or pets into the studio.
And to help keep the space clear and focused, I ask that you turn your phone off — or at least set it to airplane mode — before entering.
